Before and After: Billy Bookcase at Design Sponge

The Billy Bookcase from Ikea has been sold in droves and its simple design begs for a little semi-customization. That's what we find at Design Sponge's post Before and After: Billy Bookcase...

The project, completed by Design Sponge reader Emily, jazzes up a white Billy Bookcase with a little gift wrap from Whimsy Press. The paper lines the backs of the shelves and pops the shelves beautifully.

My Billy shelves have doors so I don't have to gaze upon heaps of stuff, but this is cute and clever. I do love all the beautiful wrapping papers available, so am thinking I could jazz up the doors with some color and design.
