I just wanted to bring everyone's attention to the miserable experience I had attempting to buy a Blank and Cables piece. FOUR calls from me and two from my designer were summarily ignored over the course of several weeks. Calls from retailers listed on their web site were not returned. Retailers listed on their web site in fact do not exist.
My suspicion is this: they do enough business servicing commercial clients and could not give less of a shit about the individual customer. Which is a shame, because I was ready to buy, and buy big.
Needless to say we went in another direction.
I am the principal of Blank and Cables, Inc. I instructed Steve K that we were in the process of moving our offices and production facility, at the time he had called,and that we were sorry for the call we had missed. The three hour time difference did not help either. We have an excellent track record of working in the design industry.
