It turns out, it is NOT a vintage design. Designed by Michael Marriot for Established & Sons, The Courier is a flat pack shelving system that is simple, flexible and has the lovely detail of solid wood bookends:

...utilising twin L-shaped aluminium extrusions fixed through a crush bent box-section framework, with stainless steel feet. Comes with six cherry wood adjustable bookends and is available wall-fixed, and in a choice of three different sizes and colours.
