The deisgn, by Arianna Vivenzio, will hold whatever; just squeeze it between the elastic "shelves". We like the box pinched into the shelf above and the website shows it supporting a whole row of compact discs, too. What a good idea.

OneWallKitchen, I feel the same way. I'd hate for something to cause it to snap and send that metal plate (or a book collection) flying through the air...

The images above are computer generated and I fear our designer hasn't taken our planets more basic conditions into account.
Its a great idea but without some clamping device at the ends good/bad old gravity will cause a very unsightly sag in the shelving.
