Just because you live in a studio efficiency in the East Village,
doesn't mean you shouldn't be surfing. There's a surfer in my building. On a regular basis, I see his boards waiting patiently in the lobby in the early morning. I gather he surfs somewhere out past Coney Island. Naturally, I wonder what he does with those boards in his apartment.
