Linnarp Book Case & Storage

Bold Basics. As we mentioned last week, we have a weakness for red furniture. The Linnarp series of shelves from IKEA is an affordable way to add that POP of red we've been craving. Available with or without a glass door, perhaps Linnarp is the perfect place to display collectibles in a dust-free enviroment...

Linnarp shelves without a door are $249 and are also available in Pine and Black. The glass doors add $100 to the price and are only available in Red or Pine.

Wasn't there someone looking for Star Wars storage a little while back? This good work, maybe with some added interior lighting

it's funny, but red is what makes this bookcase interesting.

I agree, its sexy in red, typical in the other colors.

I found myself repeatedly circling the red one at ikea last week. And you could put patterned paper on the inside back wall of it to break up the solid a bit.

do you think that this would hold a reasonable amount of books? i'm trying to convince my design-snob live-in that ikea's a fine alternative to $27000 worth of beautiful shelves...
