lots of things! books, pantry items (think of graphic food cans and boxes, spices, etc), a special collection (vinyl toys, Vitra mini chairs, etc) skeins of yarn....

It's beautiful. However, so far, as I look at it here, I'm relating to it as more of a relief sculpture, and not really as shelving. Maybe because it's not being shown with "stuff" on it? Basically, I love it, though.
