In addition to the amazing modern apartment we posted yesterday, The New York Times T Style Magazine featured a round-up of various shelving systems, from basic colorful units at CB2 to over-the-top sculptural statements priced in the many-thousands of dollars. Some have been featured on AT before, and here are our favorites from the feature...

My thoughts on shelves...
I have had many, many different types of shelves but was never satisfied with them.

I finally realized that open shelving was what I didnt like. It always looked messy to me. I finally got Wise and tried closed cabinets. My very favorites have frosted glass doors, this keeps everything looking a little less heavy.
