Tokyo Dresser by Sunnin

I've been looking for bedside tables lately and while there are tons of great designs out there, very few are A) under $200 and B) offer completely hidden storage. I know the Tokyo Dresser is probably fairly pricey, but otherwise it is a near-perfect solution. Think how much one could hide in here! While the Sunnin site doesn't help much, I'll be on the lookout for similar solutions or a way to DIY. Via MocoLocoaaron

that looks like a great solution. i like the light wood one on the site much better than the espresso finish, though.

My SO and I are planning to use two of the modular storage squares from (now defunct) Hold Everything as a bedside table once we find a file cabinet to replace them in their current job of office storage.

It's not unlike this:

and this:

with one stacked on top of the other. I have canvas baskets in the open shelved cube.

Maybe its late in the day and I'm tired but I don't see a price or a light wood finished dresser anywhere on Sunnin or MocoLoco. Anyone know the price and how to purchase? Wonderful design.

Somewhat off topic, but I miss Hold Everything...

i don't see the piece above as being a good bedside table. from the pictures it appears the piece would have to be a decent distance from the wall and the bed to fully access all drawers.

I don't see how the brookstone links are similar at all. The one above is much more elegant. The brookstone ones say prefab wal-mart to me.

Clearly, the bedside table in the original post is more elegant and more expensive. I wasn't implying that the brookstone link was similar, just that we had been thinking about bedside tables lately, and the one we're going to use offered covered storage and were (when we bought them from Hold Everything) less than $200.

"Prefab wal-mart"?

Hmm...the Brookestone ones look "pre-fab Wal-Mart" to me too :_(

Certainly Target or IKEA have more stylish solutions for less than $200.

I don't see how this is much different then just buying something with drawers. You would be able to hide just as much in 3 drawers then this....This is just neater how it opens and stuff. But you'd probably end up paying ridiculous amounts of money for something you could find with regular drawers and the same storage room.
