Lately, it seems no one wants to actually see their shelves. First, ATLA showed us Umbra's Conceal Shelf for books. And we posted a how-to on doing it yourself here.
Now, Umbra brings the conceal shelf into the bathroom with...
the Conceal Towel Shelf. It was designed by Miron Lior, who also designed the original conceal shelf. Available for $20 from Umbra.

I'm way too lazy to fold towels like that. Gotta love the hooks...
IF one's going minimalistic, this is perfect. IF one's going modern, this is it! IF one's going funky-cool, THIS IS AWESOME. Mh... now I just need to buy new pretty towels. lol
I have to say, I think that looks deeply silly.
Deborah, I was heading all the way to "creepy" on this one. If towels were meant to fly, god would have given them little terrycloth propellers.
(I'm not makin' fun of you... I've been correcting endnotes all day and am getting frivolous. I'm still back in the land of form-follows-function, where a shelf is unashamed to be a shelf.)
