Shutter Knobs for Your Interior Shutters

0717_shutter1.jpg

Shutters on window interiors are commonplace around our Brooklyn neighborhood. We love life with shutters - they allow us to keep our windows free of any coverings most of the time. The shutters fold away into the window casings. When we want shade or privacy, voila, they close shut. One thing that would make their use easier, though, are shutter knobs. There are holes where they were originally installed, but the knobs are long gone. In our research we've found a few options, which are, not suprisingly, quite traditional but lovely in design...

These pretty patinated floral knobs are from Historic Home Hardware for only $18 per pair.

That huge selection of knobs up top is from E.R. Butler & Co., makers of fine traditional brass hardware.
