What's lovely about the rules is that they're so vague as to be completely in the eye of the beholder, so everyone feels good about agreeing on them.

Others are welcome to disagree, but weren't these "commandments" already well known? I don't mean this as a negative comment about AT, but I'm tired of seeing lists, tips, rules, etc., that merely state things that are already obvious to those interested in said topic or are so vague that they don't state anything meaningful. I feel this list could fall under both of these headings.

there are all types of folks at this site, including design neophytes like myself who have never heard of Dieter Rams, let alone his 10 commandments--which if they are as tree hugger wrote them, sufficiently vague as to be eminently agreeable.
I get an education every time I come here--it's why I come here.
