Industrialization. Check out the Big Dipper from designer Sarah van Gameren. It's a machine that dips twelve, eight-candled chandeliers that will burn for four hours. Via: NotCot.com...


After being burned, the remaining material can be remelted to make additional chandeliers. These chandeliers would be perfect for outdoor parties.

wouldn't the wax drip straight onto the ground (or onto you if you find yourself standing beneath it) when it's lit?

Oh dear. What happens, if due to drafts and such, that the candles burn at different rates? Would that cause it to tip, possibly putting the flame too close to a stand, or worse, the ceiling? Or, something equally flammable?
