Luggage Storage: For all of you living in small spaces, we wonder how you store this necessity: the bulky, cumbersome object(s) we call luggage.

Re: storing luggage...it's all about the rolling duffel! Both LL Bean and Kipling have great (sturdy) rolling duffels in several sizes, and they squish down really flat. I have my mega-big one squished and propped up in the back of the closet, against the wall. The smaller one that I use for weekends and quick getaways lives under the bed. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE Ballanenjica (I totally butchered the spelling) tote bags. They fold into themselves and are the size of a small clutch hangbag, the fabric is super-tough and they are HUGE. Great for returning from a destination. The Container Store has them.

If you have hard sided luggage, tying stacking them beside a bed or chair as a side table. I've seen this done particularly with Louis Vuitton suitcases.
