I'm Catholic and I'm actually a little afraid of/creeped out by Rachel's bathroom. I don't need Jesus or Mary peering at me while I do my business.

Uh, Rachel...I'm not here to insult, but this is a color contest. Your colors are hideous and your style of whatever you want to call it is tacky, tasteless, and disgraceful. I don't know if you've been checking out the other contestants but they kick your butt on the color choices as well as style and are 1,000x's better than yours. UGH! If I were you I'd be embarassed.

Jasmine, you're not here to insult, but your post WAS insulting... and it's just YOUR opinion.
I -- and many others -- don't think the color is hideous at all: in fact, it's richly enveloping, and delicious to my eye. And Rachel's style IS her style... it's just not YOUR style, and "tacky, tasteless, and disgraceful" is a rather strong indictment. JMHO.

Phyllis, I'm not here to offend nor defend my opinion. It's as I stated. If someone is insulted think twice before you post or join a contest, if your deciding to be controversial. Be ready, be prepared-not everyone is going to agree. If you and others like this style so be it. I don't - and as free as it was to display her tacky sense of artistic whateveryouwanttocallit, I can voice my opinion. Oh and by the way, it's a strong indictment as is yours and Rachel's.

That's all true, Jasmine, of COURSE not everyone is going to agree. And btw I was not picking on YOU: I've just noticed a lot recently that many negative comments are just plain mean, and would prefer to see diplomatic "constructive criticism" where the poster actually describes in more detail WHY they think something sucks.

Phyllis, I would never intentionally set out to ridicule someone for there taste in style or design. As a matter of fact I didn't even read some of the other stuff that was posted. I did after I read your second post. I only have this to say. I am a Catholic and when I stumbled on this I simply reacted to it. I have never nor do I ever intend to ridicule or hurt anyone by posting anything offensive. I also, do not expect to enter a site like this one and be offended myself. I showed this contestant's bathroom to some of my co-workers; many have different religions, from different cultures. I waited to see what they would say. All I can say from that point on was if you don't want to get burned stay outta of the fire.
