That is one gorgeous couch. I love it too. Hope someone finds it.

Terry, there are some links and ideas over in the SF-AT site, just click on the link below the sofa. I know it's not the same, but it looks like the same kind of style as the one that kept showing here from CB2, the Shelter Sofa, seen here:
http://www.cb2.com/family.aspx?c=102&f=2693

The legs are removeable, so the CB2 one could be dropped all the way to the floor. CB2 Shelter sofa, $799.00.

Someone else posted a link to George Smith, and the prices there were more than ten times the price of the CB2 one. Like $10,000. And it looks pretty much the same, except for the George Smith one having buttons.

I figure you could get the CB2 one, get a slipcover, furnish the rest of the room, go out to lunch, and get a massage for the price of the George Smith one. Actually, I could furnish a home and buy a new car too. (new to me, new car).

Andree--
You can't judge a sofa by its pic.

What'd I do now, P2?

All three look terribly uncomfortable. All three would be uncomfortable if I don't like feeling wedged into a sofa. I like perky seating. I like to sit on top of a sofa, not be inside a sofa. I like that in automobiles too. I want to be able to put my arm out and on the sofa arm or auto door.

Patrick, I'm sure you're a healthy lad, but when you become injured, disabled, or older, you too may like perky seating that's easy to get in and out of.

Didn't we just have a contest and didn't someone just get picked on ONLY for the appearance of the sofa?

I was not commenting about the comfort. I was commenting about how interchangeable you consider the CB2 and George Smith sofa to, based on appearance alone.

...not to mention that a Chicago reader went to CB2 and gave a thumbs up on comfort for the Shelter sofa on an earlier thread...
