I'd like putting a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom about as much as I'd like installing a sink in middle of the the living room. Oh, wait, they already do that, and they charge a fortune for those places.
I'm sorry, I don't care how thick the counter's granite top is, if I can sit on the only sofa in the place sofa & see a faucet, it's not a 'Luxury' Condo.

A friend of mine renovated a 19th century Manhattan carriage house and put her bathtub in the bedroom because that's where they put the bathtub in the 19th century -- right next to the fireplace. Luxurious and fabulous, if you ask me.
And a few years ago I lived in a classic pre-code tenement On weekends it was a bubble bath, my morning tea, and conversation with my boyfriend who was breakfasting nearby. Also fabulous.
