The door is an inventive and space saving solution, but I am not a fan of the frosted glass due to the visibility of the toiletries. I suppose if you just own shampoo and pretty shower gel in neat little rows, it's fine, but with a storage space that large, I am guessing it is meant to also hold prescriptions, tampons, and other potentially unflattering stuff. In an opaque material, I think it would be great.

Its interesting on a theoretical level. Ie. it looks cool but I wouldn't want to deal with it.

Its a great storage solution however. It would be a great linen closet! Nothing to move around and make noise.

Infatuated with transluscence? Fascinating. I guess you can't keep your toys in there, eh?

Kurt -- It's in San Francisco, where displaying that sort of toy behind translucent glass is considered demure, if not actually prudish.

But when it's closed these things aren't visible, are they? Are tampons and prescriptions really so unflattering? Shouldn't there be shrines to the things that make life bearable?

Uh oh... are we leading up to a posting where Maxwell advocates removing tampons from their sterile wrappers (those nasty labels!) and storing them in glass apothecary jars for the sculptural qualities of the applicators?

We could actually have an entire feminist discussion of why it's considered appropriate to hide such things... but the mere fact that this crossed my mind means I probably need to drink more and earlier.
