Good Questions: What do you think of my rental?: "I just finished furnishing my 1-bedroom rental."
Looks great! Where did you buy the art?
your color sensibility is more sophisticated that many of the entries in the color contest, but the palette is a wee bit too tied together. take what you have done a step further and invigorate your space by introducing a color (and material finish) that is discordant with the gold/red thing you have going.
I like it. It looks very peaceful.
I think Rodger's right. The color scheme is there, the furniture looks good and comfortable, but it's missing something. A mix of textures, more lamps...ok, here's an idea, it's too square, too aligned. Get a round coffee table -- I think pottery barn has an interesting round, wicker coffee table. Then arrange those slipper chairs around the table, across from the couch. Otherwise, you're definitely going in the right direction.
Hey, post your comments about the room on the AT SF thread where the owner is sure to see them. And questions about the paintings are answered there, too.
