First, this doesn't work with Trinitrons (CRTs) - this is LCD only, and you're limited to what the vendor supplies. Second, the sizes don't go beyond 45", limiting the usefulness in a media room installation. Third, who in their right mind would have something as reflective as a mirror in front of of TV screen? Reflections are the *last* thing you want in a TV screen - one reason I decided not to get a plasma when I went for a 50" HDTV.

On the other hand if you have money to burn, it's a cool futuristic look.

I would be interested in a more custom solution, one that didn't involve a mirror-front, and be an add-on to an existing set as opposed to locking me into their particular brand.

There's too many important factors in HD sets, especially considering the still high prices, and this approach just doesn't cut it.
