I second Curtis. Unless blocking or an escutcheon has been installed above the ceiling specifically to support this -- there is no way I would trust it.

100 lb. chandeliers hang from ceiling joists, why not 15 lb. babies?

I'd hardly call that a small space cradle! Lots of visual space taken up there.
Nice, but highly impractical, as a baby outgrows a cradle very quickly. Better to opt for a crib.......
