From The Kitchn: Ditch the Salad Spinner for Spin N' Stor

2008_6_05-SpinStor.jpgSalad spinner taking up too much room in that little kitchen? Try this practical product - the Spin N'Stor.

You wash greens in the bag, spin out excess water, then store them right in the same bag. It folds up compactly when not in use - unlike that bulky salad spinner. More details on this helpful little bag at The Kitchn.

Oh, wonderful! I'm packing up the kitchen for a remodel and just paused at the spinner. I'm getting that bag TODAY and donating our big, red, salad-spinning behemoth! Thanks for the tip.

I generally put my salad in a colander, cover it with a plate and dry it that way.

Gee, maybe you should see if Green Home/re-nest wants to blog this too... :( They might have a slightly different take on it.
