mmm...LOVE homemade guac! I take an avocado and mash it up with a fork, leaving some chunks. Add a small amount of mayo and then generous amounts of black pepper, garlic and some salt. I also put a little lemon juice and add some chopped tomatoes. Yum!

It's one of my favorites! I use avo, minced garlic, chopped red onion and tomato, chopped fresh cilantro plus some fresh squeezed lime and black pepper to taste...if I want to kick it up a notch I'll throw in some chopped jalapeno.

I base mine on Mark Bittman's in How to Cook Everything. Avocado, onion (preferably Vidalia, but if I only have something stronger, then just a little bit of onion), garlic, lemon or lime, salt and pepper, hot pepper, chili powder, cilantro, cumin. Then extra lemon and salt, usually. Mashed with a fork--chunky.

Avocado, finely minced onion, lime or lemon juice, salt, and a dash of salsa. Mash it all up with a pastry blender for a nice chunky texture.
