From The Kitchn: The Perfect Tomato Salad

We're on a roll! Yesterday it was the perfect chocolate chip cookie; today it's the perfect tomato salad. And what a tomato salad this is. Just a chiffonade of basil, and a double soak in balsamic vinegar. A perfect treat.

I have 8 or so tomato plants right now, none of the tomatoes will be ready for at least another week...I can't wait!! By mid-August I'm typically snacking on 2 tomatoes a day. Love them...and I have an addiction to the smell of tomato plants.

My Nana makes the best tomato salad on the planet. Home made garlic olive oil drizzle, salt and cracked black pepper. So simple.... sooooo delicious!
