why are you giving exposure to a company that you clearly hold in contempt?

Holy mother of dog, a tv that runs in front of your bookcases? That is so exactly what I need.

But how do you plug things in?

The article didn't include either the info about the wires (as pretty much everyone who replied to that blog noticed) or the price. Hmmmm.

Perhaps it's still just a concept?

Looking at this furniture reminded me of an open project of mine...Does anyone know where I can buy relatively high end consumer electronics or audiophile-level equipment that is 15" or less in depth? I've got a Madison Buffet from Crate & Barrel that I use to house my entertainment system and I love it. The problem is that my receiver is 16" deep plus the additional depth due to the wiring in the back results in one door not being able to completely close when the system is not in use. I'd like recommendations on specific models for:

DVD/DVD Audio player
Amp/Home Theater Pre-Amp or Receiver

Thanks.

Thomas- for a DVD player, you really can't go wrong with anything from OPPO. They're not well know, but their players are fantastic - as CNet says in a review: "Performing nearly as well as players costing four times the price, the Oppo DV-981HD is an unbeatable bargain for videophiles and enthusiasts." Personally I'd recommend the DV-981HD if you want the absolute best image quality, I have an older version of it and it's fantastic, it makes DVDs look almost as good as HD movies. The DV-980H is also a good choice, it's a bit more well-roundedespecially if you want component out. Here's the reviews of the DV-981HD and the DV-980H. Here's a comparison chart of all their players if you need help deciding. They're all about 10" deep, so they should fit fine.

Sorry I can't help with the Amp/Receiver, good luck in your search!
