Really excellent slinks today!
I love those new Target ads. I feel like their educational, showing people how much design is around them and how much better it is to buy things that are thoughtfully designed rather than just any old stool/can opener/pants etc.
I posted a comment on the Funfurde blog about Malibu furniture. One of the art supply and furniture stores carried the line a few years ago but I can't remember which one nor can I confirm that they still carry Malibu.
My parents are immigrants and they often resort to Yiddish when English just doesn't get it quite right. One of their sayings came to mind as I was reading the Petsmobility website about cell phones for dogs. "America gonif". A gonif is a thief but really it kind of means "what won't they think of next" but not in an admiring way. More in a "only in this country of too much money would people think of such a ridiculous thing and only in America would there be customers" way. Oh, yes, America gonif.
What a fabulous radiator...

I never thought I'd say that about a *radiator*... Too bad they say that iit's hard to ship.
I am also looking for a furniture line called Malibu. At least that is what was printed on the front of the furniture. It is very retro looking with aluminum finshes and other retro colors. If you know this line, how to contact them or find their products I would appreciate the information. Thanks, L
