Can someone who has cable tape "Craft Corner Deathmatch" for me? I totally have to watch this, sit on my couch knitting and growl threateningly.
Speaking of IKEA, I DO love them, but this is the second time I've had a problem with a part... My first was a warped mirrored door that could not be installed, the second was a drawer front on a Mikeal unit that was predrilled/routered incorrectly. Unfortunatley on the Mikael piece, the drawers are the last thing you assemble... so I have a 90% assembled three-drawer cabinet. With only two drawer fronts...
Craft Corner Deathmatch sounds like Martha Stewart's latest TV endeavor, post-slammer.
I saw the auditions thing on craiglist and kinda thought about applying for it, but I didn't know how my craft skills would hold up... I'd love to do the titles...
Was anyone else surprised by how surprised the producers of "CCDM" were about the number of hipster crafters? Where have they been?
Never fear, I recorded it for you, Ruth... they made trivets, girl underwear out of boy underwear and napkin rings out of Sculpey. Nothing was particularly nice, but they only had ten minutes per craft... Two things I loved -- one, they gave a history of craft materials [rhinestones!], and the guy's ending tag line is something like "it's cheaper just to go out and buy things"... Good funny titles, too...
