So many comments!
First off, I LOVE PEEPS! It's not just the combination of pure sugar and marshmallow. It's the sheer cuteness. They're yellow, they're pink, they're chicks, they're bunnies, they're just spring in a tasty treat.
Secondly, how does something as big as the Astor Place cube get removed without someone seeing. I know as NYers we're not supposed to react to stuff going on, but that's ridiculous.
And now, for Chapter 2 in "Life Lessons Learned While Watching American Idol" -- During part of the audition process, all the kids have to sing in groups of threes. (why is unclear) Last season, one group was rehearsing and two of them said, "Dude, we've gotta go to sleep" (I may be paraphrasing). The third wanted to pull an all-nighter practicing. The first two went to sleep, the third stayed up and got maybe an hour of sleep. Result? The first two knew all the lyrics and sang fine, the one with no sleep couldn't remember anything. Lesson- get some sleep. And that didn't require a study, just watching dumbass kids without the sense G-d gave a chicken.
