If someone's biggest worry is feral cats, their life is pretty darn good. A decade or two ago, you'd worry about getting mugged in Brooklyn, not feral cats.
UN World Environment Day in SF. Well, THAT certainly explains all the traffic, overbooked restaurants and all the people in traditional ethnic garb (at my hotel) that I encountered in San Francisco earlier this week!
Patrick--Courtney is just misunderstood.
PS. I did NOT see a single Prius at the Clift Hotel--where many of the delegates were staying.
Didn't the Prius just make the news for engines stalling on the highway? Sound for the environment, for people, not so much.
Did anyone read the comments on the feral cats post? How is spraying a cat with water cruel? It's not acid, for goodness sakes. My sister has a neighbor's cat come to visit all the time and she taught the cat to say out of the kitchen by spritzing it with water. Amazingly, the cat survived. And she stays out of the kitchen.
