Derek Chen at Urbana is the man. We met him at CCAC out in SF about six months ago. He left his previous job to open a studio about a block away from us, where he does incredible things with wood forms.
We have urbana with free shipping on http://www.designpublic.com/shop/urbana-design If you order by the end of the month and fill out our post-sale feedback usability survey, we'll give you 10% off. www.designpublic.com/launchoffer
The Urbana pieces are sweet. As is the deal on the torchiere lamps. But that iPod behemoth is just ill (and not in a good way), made me laugh though.
Drew--Are you Drew from Retromodern? If it's you, you helped me around the holidays when I tried to order the out-of-production Pure Design Bond cocktail tables. Designpublic/Edgemodern have the best customer service. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful.
and now, the iPod shrine--i'm surprised they didn't include a little dish for burnt offerings. this is starting to get ridiculous. please, people, enough already w/ the iPod paraphernalia!
How wrong is it that I kinda like that iPod altar?!?
Another advertisement by Edgedesignpublicmodern..whatever. Don't they get tired of clogging up this blog with their ad comments. enough is enough! Just let me read this great blog without always seeing your stupid comments about your website
