Is it just me, or do the chunky ethnicraft chairs remind you of the ones in your old dorm room study lounges?

Pugu is wonderful but Audrey Saunders (late of Bemelmans Bar at the Carlyle, and one of the best mixologists around) is the name behind this one, not Sasha Patrasky.

Saw pics of Pegu on Gridskipper.com two weeks ago and have been lusting over their grid window treatments ever since. Mmmmm, that's some design goodness.

I don't like the orientation of the letters on "Decode". It becomes too obvious when "twelve" suddenly flips directions. I would have done "six" and "twelve" with top-to-bottom letters, probably.
and no, a, it's not just you. Am I supposed to like those better because they're teak instead of pine? They also remind me of "This End Up" furniture - if anyone remembers that - not in a good way.
I do like James though! :)
