    I like the glass counters (but not the ripply effect in the pic), although I don't think I've seen one live. Do they break?

    I like the idea of glass countertops, but for me to have them in my kitchen, they would have to be perfectly clear or maybe smokey gray. Green glass is really ugly (imho) and especially with this "pattern" in it.
