  • "Waffle" Fruit Container: "Smarter than you think," waffle design keeps points of contact between fruit low and increases aeration, both retarding the aging process.

    what am I?
smoke detector and garlic roller (you put the cloves inside the rubbery tube to get the paper to detach)

I'd rather smash it with a knife,
but people do like their gadgets....me, I like that apple peeler. Reminds me of a Japanese movie where a piece of fruit is peeled in one undulating coil in the foreground, pacing the conversation unwinding in the background.

yeah, it's a garlic roller all right. my mother is obsessed with kitchen gadgets and she's shown that off to all of my visiting friends for the past 10 yrs, along with her microwave pizza crisper. o the joy!

I love that apple slicer! The MoMA Design Store has such great things! The Stainless Steel "Soap" is really great too.

I suppose the glass bulbs would be okay if you could use them in a lamp where the bulbs don't show. But...erm...hmm. I wonder how decent the glasses are themselves.

My mom has one of those garlic rollers...I don't care for it. It makes the garlic all squishy and harder to chop.
