OK. I've just decided that they need to make what I THOUGHT at first glance this was -- a refrigerator clad in copper.

Why? Because if you want a new frigerator, but you're working kind of an earthy-yet-modern look in your kitchen, how great would it be to have a copper fridge? You know ... like they have copper pots!

There could be choices of finishes. You could have it coated so that it does NOT oxidize, but stays forever coppery, but also have it where it's just naked copper, so that it develops a green patina, like the Statue of Liberty, or you could have it where they pre-patinate it with some kind of acid and THEN they coat it so it always stays at that exact state of patination.

Come on, fridge manufacturers, work this idea up and send me a big fat check for the idea. Now!

No copper clad fridges just yet as far as I know, but you CAN turn your stinky old crappy one INTO a copper one if you like...?
