For all the grief Jonathan Adler gets for copying stuff, um, some "edgy and independent" designers sure "adapt" earlier designs freely... and call them their own without anyone batting an eye.

While I applaud the use of the recycled seatbelts, those chairs are Jens Risom knock-offs.

I love Muji. I was completely addicted to them when I was living in London, but they really aren't cheap like Ikea. Not expensive, just not cheap. You may want everything they have, but you will have to hold back a little and prioritize.

Still, I can't wait for them to open a store in New York! Yikes!

    margaret--
You know the downtown location of the NYC MoMA Store has a pretty full range of Muji stuff in a Muji mini-shop, right?

    It's downstairs.

The Muji collection at the NYC MoMA store is extremely limited compared to what you can get in Japan. They sell practically everything (food, clothes, furniture, bikes, etc.) in the Japan stores.
