    "Just a nice, clean modern phone. " They still make phones with cords? HA HA...

    Chiasso is only ok, They used to have a retail location in Chicago at Watertower Place, and I still get their catalog in the mail. But, I find that they are often more expensive than I can buy locally (even before you factor in shipping), and they tend to mix a few nice design things with a lot of poor quality knock offs or cheap imports.
    This makes it hard for the regular person to discern what is good and what is crap.

    ...and they provide a (catalog and web) design alternative to those places not quite so blessed as is Chicago with retail alternatives...
