Wall graphics by blue and brown of Australia: These are beautiful as much for the designs as for the boldness of the wall colors that they inspire.

Martha Stewart launches magazine for younger women: Blueprint is out as MSLO is "unveiling today the first test issue of a new lifestyle magazine aimed at women aged 25 to 45." Anyone seen the test copies?
The Washington Post weighs in and is pessimistic.
•
k-line wallhangers: One of our readers was looking for attractive, modern coathooks for her office last week. Here's a really nice idea.
•
Sedona Rocker by Ducduc: We've seen their baby rockers, but this is a new one. We particularly like the risky design with no rear spindle to the rocker foot.
•
Bend Chair by Alexandre Berthiaume of Futil Design: It is the ability to envision a chair out of one piece of material that makes this stand out.
•
plasma pod: Yes, it hides and holds your TV. Consider it a your armoire's deepest, darkest nightmare.
Writer's Almanac:
•It's the birthday of the Victorian novelist Anthony Trollope.
•POEM: "Man Writes Poem" by Jay Leeming
I'd rather have the TV in the room than that pod.
So where can you buy those cool k-line wallhangers?
how many wall graphics places are there anyway? blik, wallcandy, this one... i'm interested in designs which are less pop and more vintage, so far the blik paisley is leading the pack for me.
it's a fun trend.
rasil, I'm with you on this one. You know, the thing you have for peonies? In my case, it's paisley that gives me palpitations. Next time I'll be painting my apartment, I'll try to find a way to sneak some paisley stenciling into it.
o bubble, there are paisleys painted on my bedroom closet doors, long before i heard of blik.
i'm very fond of paisley but it's also easier to find as a motif than peonies/mums, and so doesn't lead to overheated AT posts.
rasil, the acanthus design in more on the traditional side. Did you see that one?
I love that acanthus - I like how they did a black on black, I thought that it looked big enough it might be a nice tone on tone in my office or in the long hallway, where there would occasionally be art over it....
or maybe on a door???
anne, i did. it is not... flirtatious enough for me. but i'm delighted at all the AT people who draw things to my attention.
even jenpdx. ;-p
anne, I agree... not loving the pod. We have a flat LCD which kind of just blends in with everything, it isn't bulky and it certainly isn't hideous. I can't say the same for the pod.
i too would like to know where you can buy those k-line wallhangers. google turned up nothing!
Just got my trial issue of Blueprint yesterday. I have to agree with the Washington Post - not a fan of this new Martha Stewart venture. I was expecting much more.
Leigh, I'm very interested to hear that. I ordered a sample copy (have yet to recieve it, OR my new Domino) and they've sent me two bills already! I want to know what I'm paying for first!
