Tassa Tableware by Michelle Ivankovic: Saw this in the NYTimes and now at MoCo. Vintage cups are hand-dipped in colourful food-safe silicone. It gives a whole new meaning to spilling.

I don't get the Tassa Tableware. It seems like the equivalent of a fashionable person wearing an ugly outfit to get publicity on the "Worst Dressed" list.
Funny I was just about to use the same exact words...I don't get those cups and saucers.....??? It's not attractive and it's not functional. Weird.
They're slightly more attractive when the cup is plain (like on the MoCo website). Slightly. Still, I completely agree with bk... this looks like a deliberate yet bad, bad choice.
