Thanks for that great link Trish M.! They reminded me of Mary Blair too; I have been looking for more info on her for a while, and had never come across this site. Gorgeous stuff!
As for the IKEA story, it is about time that bigg box stores get slapped for what they are doing to our communities.

Monika - Isn't Mary Blair wonderful? One of my favorite artists, hands down. The John Canemaker book about her is excellent - do check it out. Also, Disney's "Cinderella" 2-disc DVD has a nice 15 minute biography about her. I get a little thrill every time I visit Disney World because they have a couple of her small originals in the MGM park. Okay I'll stop gushing now...
