Today is moving day in Montreal (the vast majority of leases end/begin on June 30/July 1)and the expandable door hinge would be welcome addition to the vestibule door to any apartment.

The language looks Scandinavian and the radish mice are from Martha's website. Cute but way too much work.

At first sight, one would question how many times you really need the extra inch or two those hinges afford you.. mabe moving a couch or something equally as large, but it doesn't really register... unless [like me] you are a wheelchair user. Hinges such as these that tuck the door into that empty space behind the frame and trim is sometimes all it takes between being accessible and inaccessible.
[Makes me wonder.. how many dfferently abled people visit AT often? and what other interesting ideas do they have?]

In the husmussen (house mice, I presume) blog, if you click on the word Martha, it takes you to the Martha Stewart website, with directions in English. She suggests it's a good way to get kids to eat radishes. If you happen to be a kid who thinks eating mice is a good thing...
