tv in the bathroom? why? most of the suburbanites in my life have one in the living room, kitchen, and each bedroom. don't we get enough media saturation? i've seen apartment dwellers do the same.

Yeah, but my laptop serves as telephone/mail, shopping mall, stock market access, newspapers, and research library, which is more than the TV manages even on a good day. (Our TV is ashamed of its lifestyle and lives in a closet.) And the laptop still doesn't go into our bathroom.
Tsk tsk. There really is not much in life better than surfing the net on the john. That's why WiFi and Laptops were invented.
