I think that Brazilian payphone is a fruit, not a veggie. I forget its name, but each bump corresponds to a seed, around which is the sweetest fruitmeat on the planet (okay, that may be a stretch, but it's *extremely* sweet). The classic Brazilian payphone, with the same shape, was meant to resemble a large human ear.

that fruit is a sweetsop in jamaica. in the philippines it is called "Atis" in tagalog.
too bad we can't get it here in NYC!

If the lid stays on the ice, it's a swell idea.... I have not yet been served a pitcher with the lid that stays on :(

The reference to the Brazilian "tele-veggie" is not a veggie, its a tropical fruit known as Atis (known in the Philippines) which has a lot of seeds and it has a soursop taste.
