Is anyone else disturbed by the picture of the avalanche victim children with the rock pillows? Maybe that's what the twisted photographer was going for.

I want these. They don't seem to have a US distributor. Argh!

I love that bed. Although I think it might freak me out if I woke up in the middle of the night. You'd probably have a lot of dreams about being in the forest, at least ;-)

I love the bed, and I want to know how much it costs!
also - I'm pretty sure that you can order those livingstones from France and have them posted to you in the US or Canada.

Isn't that bed very non-fung shui? I thought you aren't supposed to have anything hanging over you when you are at your most vunerable?

The Livingstones have a distributor here in Montreal. Come up for a visit, go home with a Livingstone! (Or get them to send it down to you)

I love the picture of the cuddle into livingstones is so cute. :)

Wasn't Livingstones the source of rock pillows in a much earlier Slink (maybe 18 months ago) where the ad was noticeably homoerotic? Perhaps they're the Benetton of rock-shaped pillows, and the next ad will show nuns bashing one another over the head with Livingstones.

Any idea of the price range for the Livingstones? I want a couple, but I don't want to get my hopes up if they're way out of my price range.

Hi Michelle of Montreal, I'm a Montrealer as well. Do you know how to get ahold of the distributor? I have a store here in Montral (Headquarters Galerie & Boutique) and we could potentially be interested in selling them, or at the very least I'd like to buy some to pile up in the corner of my livingroom!

Thanks!

Check out design sponge for prices and contact info. I think they're too expensive for me to have more than one terribly lonely pebble! Sigh...

Angie,
If you click through all the Livingstore links to get to the French manufacturer's site, there's a list of "revendeurs". The Montreal seller is Ed-exclusivité (387 St-Paul Ouest). A quick yellow pages search has yielded a phone number (514-843-0693) and that they seem to be clothing store too (???)

I'm too afraid to call and find out the price, especially since you need a pile of them for the design to make sense.

Okay, just saw the prices. Yikes!

Okay, in the photo, the stones look like a wool stretch fabric, cut into stone shapes. Some of the more spherical shapes would require fancier cutting -- but I think if you use a serger and some imagination, there's a DIY project here.

Ooh LivingStones! The lady who makes them has her shop one road away from my apartment in Nice! They are inspired by the pebbles on Nice beach, and I had no idea they were becoming so popular!
Quick heads up though, they are a lot cheaper to buy here in France, so book a trip to come visit the Cote d'Azur :0 )

livingstones...
sure it frustrates the sense of pressure needed to form a diamond
comforting to know clrarity, cut and grade.

That bed. Wowza. I would love to have it in my daughter's room.

I'm definitely going the DIY route. I will be making them out of my own handfelted wool. I think this will end up being even better than buying them because I can make them exactly the color I need. It'll be interesting to see how they turn out.
