I dig the religious books piece, which is pretty creative, but was still shocked at the price of $2500. I find myself thinking, as I often do (Tetris Shelves), I bet I could make that.....
Personally, I prefer the colorful toasters. Much more practical and available in more colors and patterns.

The Bloomy chairs look like they're trying to beam up Pierre Paulin's Little Tulip chairs, but the transporter is jamming.

JUXTAPOSED is pretty cool.
It's inspiring too. What I want: some kind of smart, form-sensitive reshapable shelving system that lets you put your books on it so that they sink down to a parity level, forming a nice even line across the top as in JUXTAPOSED.
Anyone know a mad scientist? :-)

The cost of a piece is not always dictated by how easy it is to "recreate" or how humble the materials. That Juxtaposed shelf is a limited edition art piece, not merely a shelf.
There is value in the actual idea, not just in "how easy it is to make."
And I DARE you to "make it in 30 minutes" anyhow.
