OMG that poor baby! only a dad...
I think you could get arrested for doing that to a baby!!!
Oh no. Please don't duct tape your baby.
That baby won't be so cozy when the duct tape is being ripped off. How horrible!
Am I the only one that found that picture hilarious? I'd imagine they aren't hurting the baby. They probably taped duct tape to it self making a fairly sturdy material, and its not sticking to the baby or her clothing directly where she's coming in contact with it.
At least the baby looks amused.
I agree with Linda, somehow I doubt any women or mothers were involved with making this!
hahaha, hilarious duct taped baby! looks like most of it is stuck to her clothing so i doubt that they are hurting the baby in any way. it's too funny!
That baby kind of resonates with the kachina doll above.
The duct tape isn't touching any part of the baby's skin. I'm sure she's fine. Its a very funny photo.
She's guarding her big bird though! A good laugh an a funny statement.
Hilarious. And the baby's not the victim - she'll have fodder to guilt dad into stuff for years. "Remember that time you duct-taped me to the wall?"
I love the Venus kitchen! It would be just the thing for my tiny galley kitchen. :-)
Baby taped to a wall: Looks like child abuse to me. Whoever thought that up is an idiot! What happens if the duct tape gives, as it does??? I feel for that child who has to endure such tactics for the amusement of its parents.
Oh please. IT'S A JOKE. None of the duct tape is near her skin. I think it's hilarious. I'm sure the parents didn't leave the little thing all day. You know, satire? A million and one uses for duct tape?
And Louise? I'm a parent of a baby not too much older than that one.
The duct tape isn't funny. I think we can all be relieved if the kid isn't hurt, but even then, both the taping and the photo are dehumanizing. Why do something to a child that looks so much like violence?
Terrible image. Whatever her parents are thinking. No taste at all. Too sad that some people think it's funny.... You know, Baby Bjorn are made for carring babies, dact tapes are not. It's easy to cause an accident.
Not funny about the baby. Editors should take that off the site.
Duct-taped babies! That's one way to reduce the clutter associated with strollers, playpens, high chairs, etc. And probably cheaper too ...
Such a great, funny photo.
I spent many hours taped to a wall as a baby and I came out fine.
I admit that my first reaction to the baby photo was horror, but it was followed swiftly by bemusement.
I'm sure she's fine, and that they didn't leave her unsupervised for an instant. It's no more dehumanizing than those ridiculous get-ups parents insist on dressing their babies in for Halloween.
Hilarious!
ya know, even if it's just on her clothes, hanging like that probably is not so healthy. my guess & hope is that this was on a white floor & it only looks like she's hanging. still... yuck. i mean, you can pick a baby up by the arm, doesn't mean you should. & a baby is gonna giggle & smile anyway. anyway, i just hope nobody got hurt or was encouraged to do bad stuff. i think we all know better.
i sent this duct/duck photo out to several people -- the response i got back was -- it is HILARIOUS, with a little bit of worry -- but HILARIOUS.
baby looks fine! and the amount of duct/duck tape.. i think baby is overly-safe.
i'm sure baby will grow up to be 'totally embarassed ' of her parents' quirky ways though...
