Looks like Mr "reduce your carbon footprint" doesn't believe in his own advice. How many trees died for that picture? And THREE 30" monitors and a plasma all on at the same time? And we're supposed to believe this a**-clown actually believes what he spouts.

boomer,

The messy desk doesn't say anything about how much paper he uses/consumes, it just says that he doesn't file it or throw it away.

I agree about the monitors and TV though. He's not the problem, it's everybody else.

Quibble: The linked site says the party store ad is in NYC, but that photo is clearly on Queen Street in Toronto. Even a quick Google search for the ad firm confirms this. Doesn't anyone check their facts these days?

Jon - check out the massive, enterprise class, laster printer next to his feet. That suggests he does an *enormous* amout of printing, to me anyway. Otherwise he'd be fine with a little $99 laser like everyone else.

That's not all paper, though, either. He's got books, magazine, binders of sketch pads, etc all over that desk. I have no idea how he works in that space, but seriously? This isn't the place for political snarking.

Yes, that picture is not from New York it is on Queen Street in front of Toronto's City Hall/Nathan Phillips Square and across the street from the Sheraton Centre hotel. The building with the clocktower is the old Toronto City Hall.

Oh, and there is no subway under Queen Street in Toronto. Those are ventilation grates for the underground parking beneath Nathan Phillips Square.
