I've been tracking the Faux Bois thing on my blog. I love some of it. But towels? I don't know if I want to dry my back with bark! I think prison did something to Martha.

Please tell me that sign next to the faux bois towels is not explaining what faux bois is ...
and neat, but way to go Martha on being the absolute last to jump on this trend. (In fact, I kinda thought it was almost gone ...?) Oh wait ... does Wal-Mart have it yet??

I like the Cityscape shade -- I have the perfect window for it and I was looking for something different. One problem though-- cats -- I have 3 of them.

ridge. - Martha Stewart Living magazine has been featuring faux bois furniture for years.
Anne, I'm not talking about snooty editorial content, I'm talking about her consumer product lines. Featuring out-of-reach antiques in her magazine isn't at all the same as actually singling the style out enough to produce it for her consumers to actually buy - although they're still kinda pricey pieces. If she's done this before, then I stand corrected, but do not remember ever seeing it in any of her lines. Yet she's waited until now after tons of retailers (boutique or otherwise) have already had it out for quite a while to actually put her name behind it.
Just my 2¢.
(And in the interest of full-disclosure, I do have a few MS things in my house ... and I would've probably bought some faux bois if she'd come out with it at least a few years ago before I got tired of it everywhere.)

And incidentally, not including her stationary, unless that's been out for a long time.

Cool. I always thought about to do this with real picture from a former view from my window...
