Those slippers probably look nice for about 30 seconds before they get ratty and dusty beyond redemption. Why are you guys even bringing dreck like this to the design discussion???

I actually love the slippers! Wish I had thought of it myself. Practical, fashionable, comfortable (I assume) and multipurpose. Sure, they'll get a bit skanky after a while, so just toss them into the wash. If they can invent a "wet" version of these slippers, I'm so buying them.

They'd be fine as cleaning tools. I suspect they're not just for wearing around, when you don't need to clean.

.....they should make those slippers for dogs.
that way while my furry monster is running around chasing the invisible ball he could be doing something useful, like cleaning the floors..

I would like to see the people that like this product, trying to walk normal around their apartment and stretch their foot under a sofa or corners where dust collects the most. The best that might come out of this product, it would be poking fun on a SNL piece... It would make me laugh real hard... :-)

Re: Casch... isn't all of that so... um... Shabby Chic? Sooo 2001... It seems like you can "re-interpret" just about anything with a coating of white spraypaint.

bellaknollie, I've seen something like that out there for cats. It's one of those wacky Japanese inventions.

I thought the Casch was too weird to be shabby chic. It reminded me of Matthew Barney. I like it a lot, but all that white makes me crigne: I would have tomato sauce and dust all over everything in five seconds flat.
