Using Orange in Kids' Rooms
From Ohdeedoh: home.design.children

Does orange have staying power in kids' rooms or will it be replaced by the next cool color? If it looks as good as this room we think it will be around for awhile.

That room with the DWR lamp is a kids room!? Knock that stuffed animal off the bed and I'd move right in. Call me a 33 year old kid.

I'd take the room even with the stuffed animals! So nice.

I agree with kitties, the only thing that makes this a child's room in the stuffed animal on the bed. I would love a room like this too! Digging the orange lamp! What a fabulous room!

I think the chair is the POP or MINIPOP chair from LIGNE ROSET. I've admired them for a loooong time, too.

The chair is Ligne Roset and the bed appears to be West Elm.

West Elm also sells a similar table with a mirror top.

The rug could be from anywhere - looks like a normal ivory shag, but a flokati would work too...

Oh, and the orange lamp is the Kartel fl/y (DWR calls it the "Icon" - It's the same item) It generally runs just under $300, but sometimes Kartel has annual sales...

I have been wishin' and hopin' and savin' for that Kartell pendant light!!!

And I'm with kitties etc -- if that's a kid's room, can I be adopted?

Does anyone know where to get those giant glass jars for the terrariums? This might be my solution to plant-grazing kitties.
