I'm getting nostalgic for an eye-level grill. Very nice place.

The paint in the living room is great. Bringing the ceiling color down further on the walls make it look like you have really tall ceilings.

Love the art theme in the bedroom and the two living room chairs. I wish I were tall enough to save counter space by putting the microwave (or anything for that matter!) ontop the fridge!

Maybe not my cup of tea and I'd remove a few knick-knacks here and there, but I love the fact that the space feels cohesive throughout...not an easy thing to achieve with so many different styles mixed in. Very warm and inviting.

I love all the stuff and the paint, but I don't get why people put TVs in front of windows. It's very nice though.

I don't shop at IKEA but I do like the juxtaposition of the IKEA TV cabinet with the faux antique chairs.

Love the deco dresser with the propped up mirror.

Nice place. It's very calming though I would probably re-think the magazine rack on the wall. That's too dentist's office.

Somebody needs to explain to me how this can be a SMALLEST, coolest contest and an entrant has a "guest bedroom?" That, I don't understand.

I love that natural light in the kitchen. It just makes me want to put on the kettle and make a cup of tea!

Love the bedside lamps also.

I spy yet another IKEA white locker/credenza. IKEA sure hit the jackpot with that one, here and across the pond.

I can't figure out the kitchen photo at all: is that a miniature American Style fridge or is the range really high--or is it some weird effect of the lens on the camera?

Quite serene with interesting and subtle pattern.

I love the very traditional white chairs paired with the clear table. The lamps are gorgeous throughout and this space has a wonderful, serene feeling. Just a couple of quibbles: I would move the TV away from the window and behind the armchairs. Also, I'm not feeling most of the art, esp. the framed photo over the sofa. However, the Hawaii poster in the bedroom is great.

this is spectacular...i am jealous. so clean and well put together, but still lived-in.

just curious - what are those wing type things coming off of the "shelf" on the range? actually, what is up with the shelf in general? i've never seen that before. i know european appliances are usually proportioned differently than american appliances, but i can't figure that out. is it a broiler?

Not crazy about the ceiling flower lights, or the art over the bed (the art is fine, just not there, you need horizontal). Otherwise, awesome flat.

This has some really lovely features_ the sofa, the kitchen wall paint, the bedside tables. onlyonyl thing that doesn't work for me are the flowers strung along the wall, and the living room window seems to be asking for some further dressing. Beautiful flat tough :-)

Very sweet! A little girly for me - but then, I'm a boy, so I guess that's to be expected. I love the mixture of new and old - clean lines against ornate. I too, would clean up a few things to keep it from looking too much like a boutique hotel - but its very lovely.

@leanne, the shelf is a grill and the "wings" are handles to take the grill tray in and out. They're designed like that so you can enjoy the smell when you're grilling bacon... or something like that.

Alana in Canada--I used to live in the UK and the fridges there are MUCH smaller than the ones here. Sometimes people have under-the-counter fridges but this is a good medium-sized one. Not an effect on the lens..plus the cookers are much smaller there as well.. most kitchens are tiny.

Hi Marie-Louise--

Lovely place! Can you tell me where you found the Hawaii poster above your bed? I've seen a similar one, but without the big "Hawaii" at the top.

Thanks!

This is perfect!. I hope you win or get at least second place after the Swedish guy's apartment. I love your use baroque aesthetic and I really like how you use it subtly in light colored soft and airy looking accent pieces like the louis XIV chair.

I love how feminine your apartment looks, but its not stuffy or overpowering. You have pretty floral lampshades in your bedroom and a small accent pillow in muted tasteful sophisticated colors. You have that pretty floral hanging decoration in the living room. You use soft but striking colors, like the fuchsia rug and the slate blue kitchen walls.

I WANT YOUR APARTMENT! Its perfect!

really nice color, layout, furniture and decorative choices.

you are just a few great pieces of art, (which are really needed given your other sophisticated choices), away from something really special.

i'd bag the flowered fairy lights and that pink shear but suspect many female viewers dig them.
